the 8 routes
We have prepared 8 very different routes that you can enjoy over the course of 8 days.
We make brief descriptions to be able to have a notion.
THE 8 ROUTES
1 - LOCAL ROUTE
The local route is intended to make known the small villages next to us. Know your potential, cultural and gastronomic level. Let's get to know magnificent wine producers, cheeses and dozery. Monuments forgotten by the time that our roots keep us in mind. And never forgetting the spiritual and sacred side, let's get to know our beautiful churches and chapels, each having a very rich historical value. It is a more rustic and familiar route that we hope to be of your liking.
2 - THE A'S ROUTE
When we prepared the beautiful routes for you, we came across a very funny coincidence, the large number of surrounding Villages in which the names begin with the letter A. It is certainly a very special route. Who knows if one day we did not create a new B's route and descended the alphabet?
3 - SILVER COAST ROUTE
The Portuguese coast is undoubtedly one of the ex libris of our country. Not only at the tourist level because it moves thousands of foreigners every year, but also at the scenic and sporting level. At the level of aquatic activities, Portugal has been revealing ever more ahead and innovative. The beaches are beautiful and very different between them. In summer the beaches are an obvious quest, and during the colder months, you always take a little walk, drink a hot drink by the sea and smell the salt and sand.
4 - SACRED ROUTE
This route is without a doubt a very spiritual one. But this does not mean boring or taciturn travel. On the contrary, it is a beautiful opportunity for spiritual exchanges, for beliefs, for understanding. The visits to Churches, Monasteries, Convents are certainly a strong point of this route but with so much to visit and to know, the landscapes, gastronomy, crafts, will not be forgotten. This year we have a really special event, Pope Francisco will come to Fatima in May, an opportunity not to be missed!
5 - NATURAL ROUTE
The Natural route goes very much against our senses. As in other trips, the historical and monumental part is also much explored but will have much more dynamics in the areas of nature and ecology. We will have footpaths, in the middle of mountains, climb the belvederes, know springs, river beaches, salinas... It is a route directed to the most adventurous!
But since the good food could not be missing, who knows, maybe you can taste a fantastic chicken in the earthenware (frango na púcara), for the most lickerish some bundles of eggs (trouxas de ovos), or for the more fun drink the Ginja from Alcobaça?
Oops ... It has already been said too much!
6 - LX ROUTE
Ahhh Lisbon, our beautiful and traditional capital! We could not miss a visit to the city on our list of routes. We give priority to more natural and alternative trips, but it's always good to visit and to know a capital so unique and so true.
It is promised to escape the great confusions but without a little adrenaline would not be the same thing, right?
Monuments, snacks, parties, fado, urban art... Nothing is missing in this adventure!
7 - SINTRA ROUTE
Here is a more refined route. We will have a little bit of nature of course but, this route will take us to the enchanted world of kings and queens. Perhaps it is the most diversified route of the 8 because we have city, countryside, beaches at very short distances. We have Gardens worthy of the nobility and breathtaking Palaces. But we also have beach, light, joy and time to relax. You do not want to miss the best of the worlds in one route.
8 - TEJO ROUTE
This route is designed to make known the beautiful villages that join hands in the part of our beloved Tejo river. We will also have the opportunity to see the fauna and flora that lives in these waters. Down the river we will jump to the other "band", to know a little the other side of the river.
